My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Charlie Kirk, who will be sorely missed by all citizens of the United States, and our countries allies, who valued his devotion to God, his family, country and the free world.
Throughout my blog I have written my thoughts that I have lived with since 1941 (I was 8 years old). I have kept each article in this blog short as I have found that individuals will only read no more than 2 pages and if there is not any information that catches their attention they won’t read further. But this blog needs to put everything in perspective as why we are where we are, (using all of the articles I have published) and how do we get from here back to friendly relationships among our US citizens prior to World War II.
We had family units that were together, the husband and wife (mother and father) that taught their children how to succeed in life by listening and learning. In addition, many families took care of their elderly parents, having them to live in the same household as part of the immediate family. It was amazing what information and life experience was available for the children.
Because of WWII, we had a military draft that brought people into the military and forced many jobs to be taken over by women. Gasoline sales were limited by availability, job necessity, and controlled by 3 levels of stickers on the car windshield. Air raid wardens patrolled every city and if light showed through the blackout shades there was a knock on your door and told to eliminate the source. As a male reached the age of 18 you were automatically entered into the draft list and would be called for service soon after, generally in the Army. Many women enlisted in the women’s arm of the enlisted armed forces and were either in ratings of office workers or the medical field. Women with a college degree were given a commission as an officer and served as supervisors of enlisted women.
The last new cars were built in 1942 and were sold to the military. Manufacturing plants were converted to build tanks and assorted military equipment and aircraft. Smaller companies turned to building smaller parts to supply the manufacturers. The United States did not farm out businesses to other countries; they were smart enough to realize that the full product development had to be in this country. The priority of food stuff went to the troops so those of us, in large cities, grew our own fruit and vegetables in home victories gardens. Meat and similar products were very limited, so meals were primarily vegetable based.
News about the war conditions were reported after the fact (the term loose lips sink ships) meant that the radio newscasters and reporters were under the gun to take notes/film, while in the field with the troops, but not to release it, including any troop movement ANYWHERE, until it was approved by the senior officer on site. Any mail sent home, from the troops, went through a security screening (read) and blacked out if any information appeared to be suggested any military operations.
I don’t believe that today’s citizens in the United States could or would accept, the limitations of products, travel, movement, etc. as a result of WWII, that today is not the norm. Today we have sent companies, because of our tax laws, to locations in other parts of the world including communist, socialistic, and very liberal countries along with our developed technology. Communist China has bought millions of acres of farmland around our military bases and hold controlling interest in many basic companies through their controlled entrepreneurs’ purchases.
We are at a point in our history that we must bring those businesses and agricultural land back to the US and provide work opportunities for legal citizens of this country. President Trump is accomplishing this, but it will take time, and in the meantime, I strongly believe that “Walking softly but carrying a big stick” (remember what the B-2 bomber just did?) is the answer to keeping our country safe.
As I talk to various individuals it appears to me that they do not have the knowledge of what is going on in this country and are more concerned with their daily life than what we are facing in these trying times. History is one of the most important ways to learn about what has happened in the past and what is happening now.
Unfortunately, some of our past US Administration leaders have changed names of military bases and removed statues of historical value because it reminded them of mistakes. President Trump has seen fit to restore those changes and is in the process of riding this country of undesirable and illegal and vicious criminals. In addition, his administration is slowly finding children who were brought into this country illegally (without their parents) and used as slave labor for various unfit purposes. The actions that have begun against the cartels needs to be increased and directed to their base of operation. In addition, Communist China needs to be warned that supplying Mexico and Argentina +other nations with the basic products of illegal illicit drugs will bring serious repercussions to their shores.
The message is loud and clear that the communist nations have in mind conquering the free world. It will not happen!
I encourage each one of you to read the article from Hillsdale College (Conservative) on their Imprimis magazine of Sept 2025 titled “The Significance of the Recently Released Russia Hoax Documents”. Within that article even though I was pretty much aware of what was going on there is some new information regarding former President Barack Obama and the steps that he took secretly between his administrative leaders specifically CIA, FBI, and the intelligence communities that was not brought out until the current administration forced them to be released. What an eye opener! How many former US Presidents stayed in Washington DC after their terms ended or were not reelected? Obama stayed! I firmly believe that he was the catalyst for the horrible (unbelievable) lack of security that resulted in the millions of illegals that have walked into our country and caused thousands of deaths from murder and drugs.
Now we have the situation as follows; a national congress made up of liberals, socialists, communists, conservatives, so-called middle-of-the-road, and yes, Libertarians (fiscally unwavering)! While I’m on that subject the current hearings from the FBI were nothing more than the Democrats to sound off like “children in a schoolyard”; they had no questions, but they had a lot of rhetoric that meant absolutely nothing, except to waste time and money!
In 1967 Congress changed the fiscal year from July to October! Reason being to give more time to develop a budget between the two political parties! All of that was just a smoke and mirrors trick. How many times have we had a new budget? I can count that on one hand! We are now at that same point where it again results in a continuing budget for next year or shut down the government again!! As I am finishing the review of this document the House did pass a bill to continue the existing budget so the government would not shut down! But the Senate voted that bill down. As of this date (Sept 23rd) the government will shut down (again) on Oct 1, 2025.
George Washington once said:
“Government is not”
reason: it is
not eloquence.
It is force!
Like fire, it is a
dangerous servant
and fearful
master.”
I implore you to educate yourself of the current status of our governmental Congress is OF THE PEOPLE AND FOR THE PEOPLE and you are the people! Our Constitution was not created with the intent to provide a full-time position (with a retirement) but to elect individuals that would provide changes that improved life for all and then leave the office for somebody with fresh ideas to improve others facets of the governing laws of our country.
IT IS TIME THAT WE VOTE THE OLD PEOPLE (AND SOME OF THE NEW) OUT OF CONGRESS AND REPLACE THEM WITH NEW YOUNGER MEMBERS THAT UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF A CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC.IT IS TIME FOR TERM LIMITS
